What we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. Written in plain English.

1. Who we are

Data Trailhouse (datatrailhouse.com) is a data and AI learning platform run by Hikmat Ullah from Lahore, Pakistan. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean Data Trailhouse. For any privacy question, write to privacy@datatrailhouse.com.

2. What we collect

Forms (contact, enrollment, quotes, downloads, mock interviews, orders): your name, email, WhatsApp number, country, the course or service you ask about, your message, and whether you agreed to hear from us.
Reviews: your name, country, course, rating and review text. Reviews are published only after we approve them.
Data Job Simulator account: your name, email, a secure hash of your password, profile answers, optional WhatsApp number, and your work in the simulator. The simulator privacy page has the details.
Payments: we do not store card or bank details. We keep a record of each payment (amount, method, reference and receipt number).
AI assistant: the questions you type are sent to an AI model to answer you. We do not save them to our database.
Technical data: like any website, our host receives your IP address and browser details to deliver pages, stop abuse and keep the service secure.

3. Why we use it

To answer you, enroll you, schedule classes and deliver what you bought.
To run your simulator account, send sign-in codes, reminders and receipts.
To protect the site from spam and abuse.
To send updates about courses or offers, only if you agreed. You can stop them at any time.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use advertising trackers.

4. Cookies and browser storage

We use one sign-in cookie for the Data Job Simulator, and your browser stores a few small settings such as light or dark theme. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

We use trusted services to run the website. Each one only gets what it needs:

Cloudflare: hosting, database, security and the AI models behind the assistant and code reviews.
Resend: sends our emails, such as sign-in codes and receipts.
FormSubmit: forwards form messages to our inbox.
Google: only if you choose "Continue with Google" to sign in.
Cal.com: if you book a call.
WhatsApp (Meta): if you message us there.

6. How long we keep it

Form messages and leads: up to 24 months after our last contact.
Simulator accounts: until you delete your account in Settings.
Payment records: as long as the law requires, without your name or email after you delete your account.

7. Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or to stop marketing messages. Simulator users can delete their account themselves in Settings. For anything else, write to privacy@datatrailhouse.com and we reply within 30 days.

8. Security

Passwords are stored as secure hashes, pages are served over HTTPS, and admin pages are protected by an extra sign-in. No system is perfect, but we work hard to keep your data safe.

9. Children

Our services are for people aged 16 and over. If you are under 18, please use them with a parent or guardian's permission.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we update the date at the top. For important changes we will tell simulator users by email.
